524 Days Until Bush is GONE
August 14, 2007
Today was lovely. It was kinda chilly out! I am actually looking forward to the fall weather though. It’s becoming my favorite season I think. I had geology class this morning…boring. We have a field trip to a gravel pit tomorrow…I can’t even hold in my excitement… … … oh wait, I have no excitement to hold in. Especially since we are leaving at 8:30am. Is there even anything to look at in a gravel pit? I brought over another car load of stuff to the new apartment today – basically the rest of the big stuff, so now all I have here are necessities like my bedding and bathroom stuff – and the tv of course. I cannot wait to move in! Hopefully we will be able to do some sweet painting. I went to the dollar movie night tonight in Bangor with Kristi, Blaine, and Tamra and saw License to Wed. It was a pretty funny movie, definitely worth the dollar. Then I came back to the apartment and Monica and Marc came over and we watched Big Brother. Sooo Good. Now it’s off to bed. Night all
I’m Back!

I said I would update this everyday, and I have neglected to do so all summer! Let’s see if I can start doing better with that.
Today, Jesse and I moved the majority of our things to the basement of our new apartment in Old Town until we can move in on the 21st. We have to be out of Orchard Trails by the 17th, so we will be homeless for a few days. We are really excited to get moved in! Our bedrooms are SO big! Our new couch and chair have been sitting at my parent’s house since we bought them a few months ago, and we’re ready to put them to use!
I washed/cleaned my car today, too. It was wayyy overdue.
I have a pretty open schedule all week. I have class every morning, but then no plans after that.
Friday and Saturday the 6 of us are going to Meghan’s camp to celebrate her birthday! It has become a tradition for us, and we enjoy having that time together every summer to chill and relax by the lake with the people we like best!
OH, and I talked to Jackie today – she informed me that Regina Spektor will be in Boston for a show in October. I WILL be attending. kthanks.
Classes for this fall look pretty exciting. For the first time, I am actually looking forward to classes – and I’m totally excited about performing.
Right now, I am watching TLC and I just had some chips and salsa. I am still going strong with my vegan living. It can be pretty expensive, but it feels so much better and I do not see myself adding meat or dairy back into my diet ever. I CAN’T WAIT until the new gym opens on campus. I went there with Kyle the other night and we walked around outside and looked in the windows. The pool is quite amazing.
Until next time. Night.
